What is the minimum order quantity for export?
Minimum order quantities vary by product. For agricultural produce such as fresh grapes and bananas, we typically work with quantities starting at one metric ton. For processed goods like turmeric powder and jaggery, the minimum is 250 kg. We encourage first-time buyers to begin with a sample order to verify quality before committing to full volumes.
What payment terms do you accept?
We accept advance payment (T/T), Letter of Credit (L/C) at sight, and a 30/70 payment structure for established buyers. For initial transactions, we typically request a 50% advance with the balance prior to shipment. Payment terms can be negotiated based on order volume and buyer relationship history.
Can we request product samples before placing an order?
Yes. We strongly encourage sample orders for all new buyers. Product samples are available for most categories. The buyer covers courier charges for sample dispatch. Sample lead time is typically 5 to 10 working days from confirmation. Samples are representative of the actual export batch quality and grading.
Do you offer custom packaging and private labeling?
Custom packaging is available for most processed products including turmeric, jaggery, moringa, edible oils, and raisins. Private labeling with buyer branding is also offered subject to minimum quantity requirements. We comply with all destination-market labeling regulations including ingredient declarations, country-of-origin markings, and nutritional panels.
What quality certifications and standards do your products meet?
Our products comply with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) regulations and are exported under APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) guidelines. All batches undergo testing for pesticide residues, heavy metals, moisture content, and microbiological parameters before export clearance.
What is the curcumin content in your exported turmeric?
Our turmeric powder and fingers carry a curcumin content of 2% to 4%, certified by accredited laboratory testing. Higher curcumin grades are available on special request. All test reports accompany each shipment and are shared with buyers at the documentation stage prior to dispatch.
Are your fresh grapes and produce pesticide-tested?
All fresh produce including table grapes, bananas, and onion undergoes mandatory pre-shipment pesticide residue testing at NABL-accredited laboratories. We work with farms that follow EU MRL (Maximum Residue Limit) guidelines, which are among the strictest in the world, ensuring acceptance in the most regulated markets.
How is jaggery processed and graded for export?
Our jaggery is sourced from sugarcane farms in Maharashtra and processed without chemical additives or sulfur treatment, making it genuinely natural. It is graded by color, moisture, and sucrose content. Available forms include powder, cubes, granules, and traditional blocks. Each form is triple-packed for export to prevent moisture absorption during transit.
What are your typical lead times for export orders?
Lead times depend on the product and order volume. For processed goods in stock, lead time is typically 10 to 15 working days from order confirmation to port of loading. For fresh produce, export is aligned with seasonal harvests and arranged within 5 to 7 days of harvest clearance. Documentation processing adds 3 to 5 working days.
What Incoterms do you offer?
We operate under FOB (Free on Board), CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight), and CFR (Cost and Freight) terms. For buyers who prefer to manage their own freight, we work on an Ex-Works or FOB basis. We recommend CIF for buyers new to India-origin shipping, as we have established relationships with reliable freight forwarders and marine insurers.
Which ports do you typically export from?
Primary export shipments are routed through Nhava Sheva (JNPT) in Mumbai, which is the largest container port in India and nearest to our base in Sangli, Maharashtra. For specific destinations or freight cost optimization, we also work with Mundra Port (Gujarat) and Chennai Port based on routing requirements.
Can you handle cold chain logistics for fresh produce?
Yes. Fresh grapes, bananas, and other perishables are handled with refrigerated containers (reefer units) maintained at the precise temperature and humidity specifications required by the destination market. Pre-cooling at APEDA-approved pack houses is standard for all fresh fruit exports to ensure shelf life is preserved across long-haul ocean transit.

Dexportia Enterprises was founded in 2025 in Dafalapur, Jath, Sangli by Rushikesh Chavan with a clear ambition: to build an export business that treats every buyer as a partner, not a transaction, and every farmer as a stakeholder, not just a supplier.

Sangli district is among the most agriculturally significant regions in India, renowned globally for its turmeric and grape production. This geographic advantage, combined with a curated network of farmers and artisans, gives Dexportia access to some of India's finest produce at origin.
